Judicial decrees, decisions, positions, and orders issued by official Israeli bodies

  • Israel’s defence minister has laid out plans to force all Palestinians in Gaza into a camp on the ruins of Rafah, in a scheme that legal experts and academics described as a blueprint for crimes against humanity. Israel Katz announced that he has instructed the military to prepare for the construction of what he termed a “humanitarian city” on the site of the destroyed city of Rafah. Palestinians would undergo “security screening” before entering the camp, and once inside, they would not be permitted to leave. The area would be controlled by Israeli forces. The initial objective is to relocate 600,000 Palestinians, with the long-term goal of transferring the entire population of the Gaza Strip as part of a broader “migration plan.” (July 7, 2025)

  • Israeli occupation authorities, along with Civil Administration crews, have issued eight stop-work orders for homes in the Wadi Sa’ab community, also known as the Twisted Valley, located east of Al-Eizariya in occupied Jerusalem. (July 9, 2025)

  • Following the proposed 60-day ceasefire with Hamas currently under discussion in Doha, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will resume its war on Hamas in Gaza. He stated that after the truce, civilians in southern Gaza would be relocated and a siege would be imposed on the northern part of the Strip. Netanyahu described the separation of civilians from Hamas in southern Gaza as a “humanitarian necessity” to enable the continuation of fighting after the temporary truce. (July 13, 2025)

  • Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen declared that the Gaza Strip would remain in a state of devastation for decades, with no prospects for reconstruction. He also called for legislation to cut off electricity and water supplies to UNRWA offices in “Israel,” aiming to halt the agency’s operations, which he accused of fostering incitement and violence. (July 13/14, 2025)

  • Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert described Israel’s plan to establish a “humanitarian city” in Gaza as tantamount to creating a “concentration camp.” He asserted that building a massive encampment for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians on the ruins of Rafah amounts to ethnic cleansing aimed at expelling and erasing the Palestinian population. (July 14, 2025)

  • A civil lawsuit was filed in an Israeli court against the Palestinian Authority, demanding compensation of one billion shekels. The case, brought by around 200 heirs of those killed at the Nova music festival and other locations during the October 7, 2023 attacks, accuses the Palestinian Authority of direct responsibility for the events by financing and encouraging terrorism, specifically through the payment of stipends to security prisoners and their families(July 14, 2025)

  • The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent warning to residents of several neighborhoods in Gaza City and Jabalia, calling for their immediate evacuation southward toward the Al-Mawasi area. He also announced new evacuation orders affecting residents of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and other neighborhoods, including those sheltering in tents and temporary shelters. (July 15, 17, and 18, 2025)

  • Axios reported that the head of Israel’s Mossad visited Washington and asked the White House to help persuade countries such as Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Libya to accept hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza, as part of a population transfer plan being pursued by the Netanyahu government. Mossad chief David Barnea reportedly proposed to U.S. envoy Steve Wietkopf that the United States offer incentives to these countries, but Wietkopf did not express a clear commitment. (July 19, 2025)

  • Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced new evacuation orders for all residents in the southwestern area of Deir al-Balah, including those sheltering in tents, as the military expands its operations in a zone he claimed had not been previously targeted. He also warned anyone who has returned, or intends to return, to previously evacuated areas, describing them as “dangerous combat zones.” (July 20, 2025)

  • Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced that he had instructed authorities not to renew the residency visa of Jonathan Whittall, Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory. Sa’ar accused Whittall of biased and hostile conduct, distorted reporting against Israel, harming the country’s reputation, and violating the UN’s neutrality guidelines. (July 20, 2025)

  • Israeli Minister of Innovation and Science Gila Gamliel posted a video on X promoting a vision for the future of Gaza that emphasizes the voluntary migration of the Strip’s residents, stating, “It’s either us or them.” She also shared a link to her voluntary migration plan, originally presented on October 13, 2023, which calls for the “voluntary humanitarian evacuation” of Gaza residents by establishing temporary tent cities in northern Sinai and relocating them to countries such as Canada, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. (July 22, 2025)

  • Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that the United States has given Israel the green light to transform the Gaza Strip into a “resort town” following the relocation of Palestinians, affirming that Israel will occupy Gaza and make it an inseparable part of the country. The remarks were made during a Knesset conference titled “Gaza Riviera – From Vision to Reality,” where Smotrich unveiled a plan to relocate Gaza’s residents to other countries to facilitate settlement of the area, including the proposed establishment of three settlements along the northern border. He also called on the Prime Minister to permanently reject any partial agreement with Hamas and to instruct the Israeli army to invade Gaza and implement what he referred to as a “humanitarian separation plan.” (July 22–23, 2025)

  • The Israeli Knesset approved, by a majority of 71 votes to 13, a declaration to annex the West Bank, urging the government to apply Israeli sovereignty over the areas of “Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.” The declaration stated that “Sovereignty in Eretz Israel is an inseparable part of the fulfillment of Zionism and the national vision of the Jewish people that has returned to its homeland.”, and asserted that “the establishment of a Palestinian state poses an existential danger to Israel, its citizens and the entire region.” (July 23, 2025)

  • The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized what it described as Brazil’s decision to join the legal offensive against Israel at the International Court of Justice. The Ministry also stated that Brazil’s withdrawal from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism represents a profound moral failure. (July 22, 2025)

  • The Israeli army announced a daily localized pause for humanitarian purposes, effective from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in areas where the Israel Defense Forces are not conducting operations. These include Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah, and Gaza City. Permanent safe corridors will be designated from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to ensure the secure movement of UN convoys and humanitarian organizations delivering food and medicine across the Gaza Strip. (July 27, 2025)

  • Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the Israeli government is considering several scenarios for the Gaza Strip, including a full military occupation, tightening the siege on urban centers where Hamas operates, and exploring the option of cutting electricity to the enclave. (July 28, 2025)

  • The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the European Union’s College of Commissioners’ recommendation to reduce Israel’s participation in a component of the Horizon program as “mistaken, regrettable, and unjustified.” The ministry warned that such a decision would strengthen Hamas and undermine efforts to reach a ceasefire and establish a framework for the release of hostages. (July 28, 2025)

  • Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar summoned the Dutch ambassador to Israel, Marriët Schuurman, for a formal reprimand in protest of recent Dutch actions against Israel, including threats to impose sanctions on Israeli government officials and suspend Israel’s participation in research programs. Sa’ar stated that the Dutch measures reflect a disconnect from realities on the ground and serve narrow political interests, warning that Israel would respond to these provocations. (July 29, 2025)

  • Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that he would remain a member of the government and try to change its course, days after announcing that he had “lost faith” in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s war strategy in Gaza, criticizing the recent cabinet decision to take over Gaza City without announcing a plan to control the entire Strip or annex it. He also emphasized the need to keep large areas of Gaza under “Israeli control and sovereignty” for re-settlement and attacked the expansion of humanitarian aid. (August 11, 2025)

  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that he is on a “historic and spiritual mission”, and “very” attached to the vision of the Promised Land and “Greater Israel”. (August 12, 2025)

  • Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar told Newsmax that Israel’s acceptance of a Palestinian state would be suicidal, pointing out that the previous experience in the Gaza Strip after the full withdrawal in 2005 led to the creation of a “massive terror network”. He added that the Oslo Accords did not prevent terrorism but instead increased threats to Israeli safety, describing the two-state solution as a “two-state illusion.” (August 13, 2025)

  • Israel has approved plans to build settlements in the “E1” area near Jerusalem, a move that would effectively split the West Bank into two and severely undermine the prospect of a contiguous Palestinian state. Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich welcomed the decision, saying: “The Palestinian state is being erased from the table not with slogans but with actions.” The plan includes the construction of 3,401 housing units within the municipal boundaries of the Ma’ale Adumim settlement, along with preliminary approval for the legalization of a settlement outpost in the southern Hebron Hills. (August 20, 2025)

  • The Israeli army announced the call-up of around 60,000 reservists in preparation for an assault on Gaza City, as part of a broader plan involving the mobilization of 130,000 reservists over the stages of the military operation dubbed “Chariots of Gideon B.” Defense Minister Katz instructed army commanders to use all tools and force at their disposal to strike the “enemy” until it is subdued. (August 20, 2025)

  • Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi said that the decision to build in the E1 project is a “historic and fair decision” and marks the beginning of “extending sovereignty.” He described the area as “the heart of the Land of Israel” and a strategic nerve center for the security of Jerusalem and for Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). He referred to plans to build thousands of housing units and expand settlements throughout the territory, stressing that “there will be no Palestinian state between the Jordan and the sea.” (August 21, 2025)

  • Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said the evacuation of Gaza City is inevitable, claiming there are “vast empty areas” in the southern Gaza Strip that the army has surveyed and prepared to receive evacuated residents. He added that each family moving south would receive the highest level of humanitarian assistance. Meanwhile, the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights rejected the claims of available “empty areas” capable of accommodating hundreds of thousands of Palestinians under threat of forced displacement, stressing that these are misleading allegations aimed at justifying a policy of displacement as part of the ongoing genocide. (August 27, 2025)

  • Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared that he had outlined the decisive measures Israel must adopt, including reducing Gaza’s territory and annexing it to Israel, opening Gaza’s crossings for “voluntary migration,” and maintaining permanent Israeli control over the Strip. (August 28, 2025)

Netanyahu Says It’s Antisemitic For Israeli Soldiers To Describe Their Own Atrocities  Caitlin Johnstone Israel-Palestine News 01/07/2025   Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz are publicly denouncing a report from an Israeli newspaper quoting Israeli soldiers who describe atrocities they were ordered to commit in the Israeli military, accusing the report of “blood libels”. . . . One Israeli soldier attests that civilians seeking aid are “treated like a hostile force — no crowd-control measures, no tear gas — just live fire with everything imaginable: heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars.”

“We open fire early in the morning if someone tries to get in line from a few hundred meters away, and sometimes we just charge at them from close range. But there’s no danger to the forces,” the soldier says, adding, “I’m not aware of a single instance of return fire. There’s no enemy, no weapons.” Read more: https://israelpalestinenews.org/netanyahu-says-its-antisemitic-for-israeli-soldiers-to-describe-their-own-atrocities/

Jewish Israelis share genocidal belief there are ‘no innocent people in Gaza’Jonathan Ofir M/Weiss 04/07/2025 64% of the Israeli public agree with this statement, almost two out of three people. But it is actually considerably higher among Jewish Israelis, because that number is weighted by Palestinians with Israeli citizenship. Palestinians make up roughly 17% of the Israeli population and 92% of them oppose the statement, so that leaves Jewish Israelis with overwhelming support.1 Read more: https://mondoweiss.net/2025/07/poll-overwhelming-majority-of-jewish-israelis-share-genocidal-belief-there-are-no-innocent-people-in-gaza/?ml_recipient=158996139106895606&ml_link=158996066759345434

Gaza out of baby formula  Nora Barrows-Friedman EI 04/07/2025

While people are killed every day at these so-called aid sites, and as thousands of tons of food, medicine, fuel and supplies remain trapped on the other side of Israeli checkpoints just kilometers away, Palestinian children are dying of starvation. The Gaza government media office stated on 28 June that at least 66 children have been killed as a result of malnutrition and Israel’s policy of deliberately depriving children of baby formula, nutritional supplements and food. As The Electronic Intifada’s senior editor Maureen Clare Murphy recently reported, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights warned that hundreds of infants and premature babies face “life-threatening danger” amid a shortage of therapeutic milk.

“Fortified milk is essential for infants with certain health conditions but supplies have run out at Gaza’s neonatal intensive care units and have all but disappeared in local markets due to Israel’s severe restrictions on what enters Gaza’s crossings,” Murphy wrote. Iran hit Israel with “damage it has never suffered before” Eli Gerzon EI 07.07/2025

Since the program, new satellite data has confirmed that Iranian missiles directly hit five Israeli military bases during the war of aggression that Israel launched on 13 June. Information about the damage has otherwise been concealed by strict Israeli military censorship. Killings at U.S.-run ‘aid’ sites were ignored until the perpetrators admitted to it Noor Alyacoubi M/Weiss 09/07/2025  Since March 1, Israel has imposed a total blockade on Gaza, preventing all humanitarian aid from entering the coastal enclave. Between March and May 19, not a single aid truck was allowed through. When shipments resumed, they were severely restricted, and many were intercepted or looted by Israeli-backed gangs before reaching warehouses. The GHF “aid” sites, touted as a humanitarian initiative, have turned food distribution into sadistic “death traps,” as Palestinian aid-seekers have described them in countless testimonies. Israel and Trump are carrying out their final solution in Gaza   Mitchell Plitnick M/weiss 23/07/2025  As the unspeakable genocide in Gaza reaches its most nightmarish phase to date, Israeli leaders think they have found an endgame that will achieve their ambition of emptying the Strip of Palestinian life. It is a plan that, as Gideon Levy aptly notes, would have been worthy of Adolf Eichmann. Read more: https://mondoweiss.net/2025/07/israel-and-the-trump-administration-are-carrying-out-their-final-solution-in-gaza/?ml_recipient=160808017784211168&ml_link=160808000747996523

Israel is changing the legal system governing the West Bank to accelerate annexation       Jeff Wright M/weiss 24/07/2025  Israel is accelerating its efforts to cement its permanent control over the West Bank through a number of sweeping legal and institutional changes, according to a new report from Adalah, The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel. The 87-page report, Legal Structures of Distinction, Separation, and Territorial Domination, describes the ways in which the Netanyahu government is rapidly building on a long-standing legal matrix that further threatens Palestinians’ right to self-determination. Read more: https://mondoweiss.net/2025/07/israel-is-changing-the-legal-system-governing-the-west-bank-to-accelerate-annexation-report/?ml_recipient=160898645232714812&ml_link=160898595049965053

Knesset passes a motion supporting the annexation of the West Bank Qassam Muaddi M/weiss 25/07/2025 The annexation of the West Bank has been on the Israeli Knesset and government’s table for years. In 2015, current Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich proposed his so-called “decisive plan” for “ending the conflict” by preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state once and for all through the extension of “Israeli sovereignty” over the West Bank. International Sociological Association suspends Israeli Sociological Society over refusal to condemn genocide Global Sociologists for Palestine 03/08/2025  At the regional Arab level, this was the first successful academic anti-normalization campaign in the aftermath of the US-sponsored Abraham Accords. Rather than disengage or allow the Forum to become a vehicle for the normalization of Zionism in the Arab region, a BDS campaign was successfully coordinated to challenge the participation of Israeli institutions complicit in apartheid, settler-colonialism, and genocide. This included a principled call and commitment to boycott panels featuring such institutions and their representatives, and a call to individual Israeli scholars to publicly condemn these ongoing violations.Read more: https://mondoweiss.net/2025/08/international-sociological-association-bars-israeli-public-institutions-from-membership-over-refusal-to-condemn-genocide/?ml_recipient=161804666070370104&ml_link=161804583551632886

Only 1.5% of cropland, 3% of animal wealth left in Gaza Nina Lakhani  The Guardian 06/08/2025  Before the conflict, Gaza was a thriving agricultural hub, where farmers and ordinary Palestinians cultivated a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains for local consumption. According to the FAO, agriculture accounted for around 10% of the Gaza Strip’s economy, and more than 560,000 people, or a quarter of the population, were at least partially supported by agriculture and fishing. Israel has targeted food sources – orchards, greenhouses, farmland, and fishers – since the beginning of its siege on Gaza in October 2023. Transcript reveals Israel chose to starve Gaza as a strategy of war Qassam Muaddi M/weiss 07/08/2025 The Israeli cabinet’s meeting, dated March 1, was to discuss the fate of the ceasefire with Hamas as the first phase of the agreement was set to expire. The prospective second phase of the ceasefire was supposed to see the beginning of talks on the permanent end of the war. The minutes released by Channel 13 show that army and intelligence officials argued for concluding the ceasefire deal, while cabinet ministers opposed it. 4 out of 5 Jewish Israelis are not troubled by the famine in Gaza Jonathan Ofir M/weiss 08/08/2025 Another poll documenting the moral nadir of Israel has been released. This time it is the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) with a poll released Tuesday, showing that 4 out of 5 Jewish Israelis – 79% – are not troubled by the famine in Gaza. The precise question asked was: “To what extent are you personally troubled or not troubled by the reports of famine and suffering among the Palestinian population in Gaza?” According to the poll results, 23.4% of Jewish Israelis are “not so troubled” by Palestinian famine and suffering, and 55.6% are “not at all troubled.”

The Jewish Supremacy monster cannot be contained  Daphna Baram & Michael Sfard  M/weiss 12/08/2025  This is no longer the case. Those days are over, Weimar is over. Appealing to the high court of justice is no longer a real threat against power; getting a journalist to expose evil, even when you find that rare brave one who had not turned into a mouthpiece of fascism, is no leverage, and there is no “world” out there that might sanction you for not understanding the limits of power, because there are none. FLASHBACK: It’s Not Shocking to See Israeli Children Celebrate the Gaza Genocide Rifat Audeh, Reposted from Peace & Planet News, Summer 2025, originally published by Al Jazeera, Nov. 2023  . . . Even after the video was silently erased from social media, however, the song remained a subject of discussion and controversy. Many across the world were shocked to see children sing happily about “eliminating” an entire people “within one year”. Yet a closer look at Israeli literature and curricula shows this open celebration of genocide was the only natural outcome of Israel’s persistent indoctrination – or brainwashing to be more blunt – of its children to ensure that they do not view Palestinians as human and fully embrace apartheid and occupation. . . . He revealed that 66 percent of these 520 books refer to Arabs as violent; 52 percent as evil; 37 percent as liars; 31 percent as greedy; 28 percent as two-faced, and 27 percent as traitors. How Israel Weaponizes Archaeology    Kathryn Shihadah IAK 17/08/2017

The “Jewish State” prioritizes anything that might boost its legitimacy as rightful owner of Holy Land real estate, and has appropriated the science of archaeology to help create its narrative . . . It is no surprise that Israel/Palestine is an archaeological gold mine: ancient trade routes crisscrossed the region; it was the historic home of the Philistines and Crusaders; a stone’s throw from the early civilizations of Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Phoenicia; part of the Roman, Greek, Persian, and Ottoman empires, to name a few; and the dwelling place of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Israel’s “tragic mishap” kills more Palestinian journalists – War on Gaza Day 689  IAK 26/08/2025 At least 15 Palestinians, including five journalists, were killed on 25 August in an Israeli attack on the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis.

The dead included Reuters journalist Hossam al-Masri, Al Jazeera journalist Mohammad Salama, Independent Arabia and AP journalist Maryam Abu Daqqa, and NBC journalist Muath Abu Taha. Journalist Ahmad Abu Aziz later succumbed to his wounds, which were sustained in the same attack. One member of Gaza’s Civil Defence was killed as well, and several others were injured. An initial drone strike targeted the upper floor of the hospital, where the journalists were. A second attack took place targeting the rescue team as it was arriving at the scene.  A sixth journalist, Hassan Douhan, a correspondent for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida publication, was fatally shot by Israeli forces in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.

In Israel, ‘animals in human form’ may be killed   Tamir Sorek M/Weiss 31/08/2025

Were it not for that massacre, they might say, the numbers would have been different. But Emile Bruneau and Nour Kteily, two political psychologists, conducted this survey in early August 2014. By chance, it was carried out the same week that Israel massacred hundreds of Palestinian civilians in Rafah (an incident known as “Black Friday”), in an incident that brought the survey’s scenario to life. The Israeli army is the people’s army and behaved in line with public opinion. Netanyahu thwarted seven Gaza ceasefire deals, Israeli report finds

Israel-Palestine News  25/08/2025

Over the course of the war in Gaza, Israel has repeatedly put up roadblocks to ceasefire deals with Hamas, even when the Palestinian group accepted its conditions, Israel’s Channel 13 investigative program HaMakor reported on Friday (August 22). According to senior American and Israeli officials interviewed by the program, Israel blocked a ceasefire agreement on seven occasions during nearly two years of its devastating military campaign against the besieged enclave.

What it’s like to be a midwife in Gaza during Israel’s genocide Wesam Abo Marq 02/09/2025  The British Red Cross cautions that long-term, frequently irreversible harm in children, such as stunted growth, impaired brain development, and organ dysfunction, can result from chronic malnutrition. Inadequate nutrition weakens immunity, increasing susceptibility to disease and infection in expectant mothers, new mothers, and infants. Without immediate humanitarian assistance, Gaza faces the threat of losing both this generation and the next. Israel moves to embrace its isolation  Abdal Jawad Omar M/weiss   18/09/2025

For all the rhetoric spun by Netanyahu, a consummate master of evasion and lies, one truth remains unshakable: Israel is paying a heavy price for its campaign to annihilate the Palestinians. That price is reckoned not only in blood and mounting international condemnation, but in a deeper paradox that defines the state itself. On one side, Israel’s right-wing coalition remains defiant and indifferent, maintaining that “the world has despised us for two thousand years, and that hatred will not go away.” But beneath this defiance is a latent anxiety that no slogan can paper over: what is Israel’s worth if its claim to be a refuge and haven is undermined by its own imperial structure? A sanctuary built on dispossession and alliances with great powers, nourished by the perpetuation of Islamophobia, trading upon the exploitation of antisemitism, and secured through the continuous subjugation of another people — itself requiring the continuous recruitment of a financial and industrial base not located in Tel Aviv, but in London, Washington, Paris, and Berlin — is no sanctuary at all.

Israel to flood Gaza City with explosive-laden robots Nadav Rapaport Israel-PalestineNews 18/09/2025 The Israeli military is preparing to deploy an “unprecedented” number of explosive-laden, remote-controlled vehicles into Gaza City, according to Walla news outlet. Known in Gaza as “booby-trapped robots”, the vehicles are decommissioned armoured personnel carriers (APCs), rigged with explosives and operated remotely by Israeli forces. They are driven deep into urban areas before being detonated, causing massive blasts and widespread destruction. Hostage release is a greenlight for Israel’s campaign of annihilation in Gaza  IsraelPalestineNews 22/09/2025 reposted from Reposted from Amnesty International, September 19, 2025  For the sixth time, the United States has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution aimed at ending the unbearable suffering of over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza struggling to survive Israel’s genocide that has been cruelly unfolding before the world’s eyes. It is morally reprehensible that instead of using its leverage to halt the endless catalogue of horrors, the USA has – yet again – abused its veto rights to effectively further greenlight Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The results of the vote, 14 in favor and only one against, show that the USA stands alone on this issue. It is now up to the General Assembly to take decisive action. Israel is trying to collapse the Palestinian Authority. The first step is destroying the Palestinian economy.  Qassam Muaddi  M/Weiss 23/09/2025

Every year, the Finance Minister renews an indemnity letter allowing Israeli banks to accept money transfers from Palestinians in the West Bank, shielding Israeli banks from anti-terrorism laws they might be at risk of breaking by dealing with Palestinian banks. . .

This is the spearhead of Israel’s campaign of economic warfare against Palestinians in the West Bank. Here’s why it could hasten the collapse of the PA and formally bring about a one-state apartheid reality.

Hamas announces willingness to step away from ruling Gaza Rasa Evrensal & Mohammad Sio  Anadolu Agency 26/09/2025

Hamas is part of the Palestinian fabric and cannot be excluded. "But as I said again and again regarding the ruling of Gaza, we are ready to be out of the ruling of Gaza. We have no problem with this,” senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad said in an interview with CNN.

Since taking over the Gaza Strip from the Fatah-ruled Palestinian Authority (PA) on June 14, 2007, Hamas has governed the territory until the Gaza war began in October 2023. ‘Tunnel vision’: how Israel is using archaeology to win US support M/Weiss  17/09/2025   Julian Borger, Reposted from The Guardian, September 25, 2025

When the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, visited Jerusalem this month, the itinerary his Israeli hosts laid out involved more archaeology than anything else. On his first day, Benjamin Netanyahu took Rubio underground to excavations near the Western Wall. On the second day, Israel’s prime minister gave his American visitor the honor of inaugurating a tunnel burrowed under a Palestinian district, along a Roman-era street nicknamed the Pilgrimage Road, in a “City of David” archaeological park. . .  While Rubio was on this tour of ancient Jerusalem, Israeli planes bombed the most important storage depot of ancient artifacts in Gaza City, pulverizing three decades of archaeological work. Israel is coercing Gaza families: “Cooperate or be killed” IsraelPalestineNews 29/09/2025 Reposted from Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, September 27, 2025

The pressure has shifted from targeting individuals to organized collective extortion that places entire families before a horrific equation: join militias created by Israel or face persecution, mass killing, starvation, and forced expulsion, a coordinated attempt to eliminate Palestinian society or reduce it to submission under occupation control. Why the Trump-Netanyahu ‘peace plan’ is a trap Qassam Muaddi M/Weiss 30/09/2025  The formula Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu presented for the plan to end the war in Gaza is riddled with red flags. With the Israeli Prime Minister to his side, the U.S. President explained that his plan would include the release of all Israeli captives in Gaza, dead or alive, within the first 72 hours of the deal, while Israel would release 250 Palestinians from Israeli jails, and humanitarian aid would flow into the Strip.

That’s about the only part of the proposal that’s clear. Nothing else in the “20-point plan” has a clear timeframe or mechanism of implementation. UK pivots to Israel  Omar Karmi   EI  03/01/2022

Over the past year, the UK has taken a number of steps aligning itself much closer with the US and Israel than its own past positions. The UK and Israel have just signed a “strategic plan” entirely devoid of strings or demands on Israel. At about the same time, and for the first time ever, the UK abstained from an annual UN vote on the status of Jerusalem. . . . The UK is also actively opposing attempts to hold Israel accountable at the International Criminal Court, even though it is quite clear and well documented that Israel is unable or unwilling to investigate itself. Labour has become a shadow of its former self on the issue [of Palestine]. So reliably compliant has Her Majesty’s official opposition become, in fact, that attempts to criminalize the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement – and thereby undermine basic civil rights – are also moving forward. Blair’s ‘GITA’ Plan for Gaza is a Continuation of British Treachery against Palestinians The Palestine Chronicle  21/09/2025

Known as “GITA”, the devious plot devised by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair stands for the establishment of the “Gaza International Transitional Authority”. . . . GITA will have a board made up of seven to 10 members, which will include “at least one qualified Palestinian representative (potentially from the business or security sector),” a senior UN official, leading international figures with executive or financial experience, and a “strong representation of Muslim members” to boost regional legitimacy and cultural credibility. . . . The chair of the board will be “appointed by international consensus and receive the endorsement of the UN Security Council. The chair will lead GITA’s external engagement and diplomacy and set the political direction of the body while closely coordinating with the PA”, . . .  Read more: https://www.palestinechronicle.com/blairs-gita-plan-for-gaza-is-a-continuation-of-british-treachery-against-palestinians/
